I just want proper routes, better character development (not just devilgrams!!!!) and some proper story 😭 But lets just say the gacha system is in desperate need of an overhaul. I'm not even going to get started on the gacha itself, as this comment is getting pretty long. As is evident with the most recent events aka Halloween Mask and Gem. The format of the game/story doesn't exactly lend itself well to a gigantic cast, which is becoming extremely evident with the devs trying to squeeze in a moment with everyone. Now a cast of fifteen is fine for a more traditional otome gatcha, with separate routes for each LI (e.g: think of the Ikemen or similar series) But Obey me isn't a traditional otome, it's more of a reverse harem/harem visual novel with a dance battle mini-game. Adding the three new characters, rounds the pool up to fifteen. Luke is more of a friendship imho, so I don't really count him, but that is five more characters on top of the original seven. But was stretched even further with the addition, of Barb, Diavlo, Solomon and Simeon. Obey Me is suffering from extreme character bloat, it was already stretched pretty thin when it was just the original seven. I agree with this, I've said it before and will say it again. I didn’t mean anyone who is respectful and put out valid points why they didn’t want a female character. And i saw Someone even edited the female character out of the banner and said they fixed it. Some of them were along the lines of ‘i will quit the game if you put female characters’, ‘why are you forcing romance with a female character relationship, ask them to play something else’.

I am super thrilled to develop a platonic relationship with the new character. As a straight female, it doesn’t bother me one bit. Saying they shouldn’t have any representation in the game is a little absurd to me. I mean i can understand you not being into them romantically, but you always have the option to choose a non romantic route with them. So it seems like they are open minded only when male characters are involved.Īnd making Them dateable is a big no no for a few. And half the fandom have mlm ships like dialuci and asmosolo. this comment in specific reeks of misogyny. So the new male characters can be competition too. Point 1 is really weird take, because all characters are canonically pan/bi (sorry if i got the sexuality wrong here). The hate is either people thinking they will be competing with mc or they think there will wlw relation in the game. It is a little sad to me some people hate on the new female character.
